The Faringdon East Neighbourhood Action Group which covers Charney Bassett is holding a burglary and doorstep crime awareness event on Saturday 15th May at Stanford in the Vale. The local policing team and members of the Neighbourhood Action Group will be at St Denys church between 10am and 12.30pm where you can pick up a free property marking kit. In the afternoon from 1 to 3.30 pm they will be at the village hall where you can also talk to other organisations including trading standards, Anchor Staying Put, the police crime reduction officer and the district council.
Residents of Charney Bassett are inviited to attend.
